Colorado skiers and riders are passionate about their powder, their resorts and their favorite trails. Many of them are equally passionate about their favorite beers, brews and ales that they enjoy apres ski. So, at this year’s 21st Annual Colorado Ski & Snowboard Expo, the second annual, Rocky Mountain Brew Fest returns. For an additional $12 ($15 at the door) and with an expo ticket, Expo visitors can sample dozens of handcrafted beers and ales during one of four 3-hour tasting sessions throughout the weekend. Admission includes three beer samples, plus one full beer. The brew with the most full beers poured will be declared the People's Choice Winner for this year's Brew Fest. Additional sampling tickets will also be available for purchase: 3 ticket/$5; 7 tix/$10; 15 tix/$20.

The following beers will be available for sampling at the 2012 Rocky Mountain Brew Fest:
Colorado Native Lager - An Amber lager made with 100% Colorado ingredients, sold only in CO. 5.5% ABV, 38 IBUs Indian Pale Lager - An India Pale Lager, 7% ABV, 70 IBUs
Pale Ale - Features a characteristic copper color from a blend of lightly kilned malts coupled with distinctive bitterness and flavor from Washington state‘s finest hops Amber - Reminiscent of a German Oktoberfest-Style brew with a deep copper color, smooth malty flavor and pleasantly noble hop aroma and bitterness from German hops
Disconnected Red - A Hoppy Amber style ale, hopped like an IPA. The malt backbone gives it a suprisingly balanced taste. Type III IPA - An American IPA, more balanced than hop forward. It is na English style, but because more American style hops are used it's considered an American IPA Big Choice Brown - A malt forward American Brown with a hint of roasted flavor. Although it has hoppiness to it, it is well balanced. 10,000 Summers Saison - A Belgian Farmhouse Ale infused with local wildflower honey. Tart flavor with pepper undertones.
Compass IPA - American Style IPA with copius amounts of Columbus, Chinook, and Cascade hops Winter Warlock Oatmeal Stout - Oatmeal, not just for breakfast
Crank Yanker IPA - Ann extremely well-balanced IPA, 7.25%UBV, 70 IBUs Boater Beer Pilsner - A light, crisp and refreshing pilsner. 4.25% ABV Innerglow Red Chile Porter

Apis IV Belgian Dark Strong Ale - Part of Elevation's Black Series, this beers sports local honey, dark fruit, caramel notes, and a hefty 10.7% ABV First Cast IPA - Part of Elevation's Blue Series, this hop forward IPA has heavy notes of pine & grapefruit with 70 IBUs and 6.5% ABV 8 Second Kolsh - An easy drinking, crisp Ale, first brewed as a specialty beer for the local county rodeo. 4.5ABV, 25 IBUs
Wooly Booger Nut Brown Ale - An English brown ale, mild bodied, dark in color, while at the same time full of flavor. A wonderfully drinkable beer, with slight toffee, nutty and caramel flavors. Rocky Mountain Red Ale - Deep amber in color and complex in flavor. A well balanced beer with medium body and a smooth finish. This beer is a blend of American and British Malts accented with a healthy dose of American Hops. Shadow Mountain Stout - Brewed using rolled oats, chocolate malt and roasted barley, this beer has a rich, thick head and a chocolate flavor. Hoppy's One Ton Pale Ale - Bright amber, crisp and double dry hopped, with a “Ton” of American Hops White Cap Wheat - An American Style Wheat Beer, left unfiltered for fuller flavor. A light body and smooth aroma make this a delightful sipping beer.
Milk Stout Nitro - This smooth, creamy sweet stout features hints of mocha and chocolate Sawtooth Ale - An American style ESB, very balanced with a malty chewiness slowly transitioning to herbal, earthy hops with a dry finish
Isolation Ale - A sweet caramel malty ale balanced by a subtle crisp hop finish Odell IPA - An American style IPA with a fresh, citrus aroma
Euphoria Pale Ale - A winter seasonal ale, 6% ABV Steel Toe Stout - Traditional English cream stout brewed with actual milk sugar to create a creamy & sweet brew, 5.4% ABV
