It's in the air - you can just feel the energy! And before the excitement can wind down, we'll be wrapped up in the spectacle that is the Winter Olympic Games - coming in February 2010 to Vancounver, BC. This fall, when the pre-Olympic publicity kicks in, that interest is going to be off the charts! Taken all together, it means that all eyes - consumer and press - will be focused on Winter Sports next year. Wow, what a great time to be in the Ski & Snowboard business!

For almost 30 years, BEWI's consumer Ski & Snowboard Expos have brought together the entire winter recreation scene in major markets throughout the country. The Expos are where this Olympic excitement will meet the industry's core customers - today's active and committed skiers and snowboarders. Highlighted this year by a distinctive Olympic Preview and Salute to the athletes of the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team, all BEWI Expos will also continue to feature a heavily promoted pre-season retail sale, as well as extensive exhibits by mountain resorts, industry manufacturers and a host of winter travel and tourism companies. Key Olympic and U.S. Team specific features will showcase past and present Olympians in special preview presentations and demonstrations.

All of this excitement will be broadcast to skiers and snowboarders extensively through the media buzz BEWI creates in each city by its unique partnerships with leading newspapers, radio and TV stations, and on-line media outlets. Taken together, this effort brings thousands of demographically ideal customers together to kick-off their winter season at the Ski & Snowboard Expos.

BEWI knows, and has proven over the years, that the key to success in today's marketplace means reaching the greatest number of these potential customers by the most economical use of one's marketing dollars.
